Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using the Peramap mobile application (the "App") or any related service provided by Peramap Yazılım ve Bilişim Teknik San. Tic. A.Ş. (the "Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service Peramap provides a family-oriented location-sharing platform that allows users to share their real-time location with selected family members or trusted circles, configure smart safe zones, review historical route data, and receive AI-generated movement summaries. Features may be offered free of charge or as part of a paid subscription tier.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. Users under the age of 18 may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, for all activities that occur under your account, and for promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use. The Company is not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

3. Acceptable Use You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner that respects the rights and privacy of others. Without limitation, you agree NOT to:

Use the App to track, surveil, or monitor any individual without their explicit, informed, and freely given consent. Use the App to harass, threaten, intimidate, or stalk any person. Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App. Interfere with, disrupt, or impose an unreasonable load on the App, its servers, or its networks. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems. Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these terms.

4. Location Data and Consent The App's core functionality relies on the collection and sharing of location data. By using the App, you affirm that you have obtained explicit consent from every individual whose location you intend to share or monitor through the App, including family members and minors under your legal guardianship.

You can review, modify, or revoke location-sharing preferences at any time from within the App. Detailed information regarding the processing of location data is set forth in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation Certain features of the App may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are charged to your App Store or Google Play account at the time of purchase and will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date.

You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds will be issued for unused portions, except as required by applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property All content, design, source code, trademarks, logos, and software within the App are the exclusive property of the Company or its licensors, and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms of Use.

7. Privacy Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms of Use. Please review the Privacy Policy carefully to understand how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information.

8. Third-Party Services The App may integrate with third-party services (e.g., map providers, authentication providers, payment processors). Your use of such third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. The Company is not responsible for the practices of any third party.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. The Company does not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

Location data presented in the App is provided for informational purposes only and may be subject to inaccuracies caused by GPS signal availability, device limitations, network conditions, or third-party data sources. The App is not intended to replace emergency services and should not be relied upon as a sole safety measure.

10. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App.

11. Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms of Use or your misuse of the App.

12. Termination We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, particularly in the event of a violation of these Terms of Use. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease, and you must uninstall and delete all copies of the App.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Turkey.

14. Changes to These Terms We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Use.
